Mahindra BE6 and XEV 9e Electric SUVs Launched in Chitwan

Agni Aastha Private Limited, a subsidiary of the Agni Group and Mahindra-certified pre-owned vehicles company, has launched Mahindra’s latest SUVs—the BE 6 and XEV 9e—in Chitwan. The company is also the official distributor of Mahindra Pickups, Tractors, SUVs, and RVs in Nepal.

Built on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO platform and powered by MAIA—one of the world’s most intelligent automotive architectures—the launch of these electric SUVs marks the beginning of a new era of electric mobility in Chitwan. The BE 6 and XEV 9e embody Mahindra’s Born Electric vision, seamlessly blending innovation, performance, and sustainability.

Both models offer impressive driving ranges on their 79 kWh LFP battery packs, with the BE 6 delivering up to 543 km and the XEV 9e up to 656 km. The battery packs are backed by an industry-leading warranty of 8 years or 200,000 km, reinforcing long-term ownership confidence.

Ride comfort and handling are enhanced through advanced semi-active dampers, an i-Link front suspension, and a 5-link rear independent suspension. Brake-by-wire technology with an integrated electronic booster, along with high-power steering, ensures precise control and responsive driving dynamics.

The BE 6 delivers an engaging driving experience with its 6-speed transmission, race-inspired digital cockpit, and multiple driving modes. The XEV 9e elevates performance further with up to 199 kW of power in its top variant, complemented by a cinematic triple-screen dashboard that enhances both aesthetics and functionality.

Both electric SUVs are equipped with premium features including Harman Kardon Sonic Studio sound systems, Autopark functionality, EyeDentity driver and occupant monitoring, and the LiveYourMood cabin ambience system. The XEV 9e additionally features an AR-based VisionX heads-up display.

Advanced safety is ensured through ADAS Level 2 on the BE 6 and ADAS Level 2+ on the XEV 9e, along with 360-degree cameras and the ME4U connected vehicle platform, delivering a comprehensive blend of safety, comfort, and convenience.

The event was hosted at the Hotel Siraichuli, Bharatpur, Chitwan and attended by key dignitaries, including the Chief Guest Mr. Chiranjibi Subedi, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chitwan (CCIC); Mr. Cabinet Shrestha, Chairman of Agni Group; and Mr. Chaitanya Kagalkar, Country Manager of Mahindra & Mahindra, along with Mahindra customers, EV enthusiasts, media personnel, and company representatives.
